December is the summer in Mauritius, so expect hot weather. As December falls inside the cyclone season, you might get lucky and be able to surf some waves formed by a cyclone , when it's still far away of course and pretty safe. Where are you planning on staying? As far as i remember you can rent a board in Tamarin and Belle Mare (north east) where there is a kitesurfing and surfing school. Depending on the resort you'll be staying, they might have windsurfing boards as well as regular surf boards. If you need any more help, feel free to ask. Hi Asya,
